atinx students are the second largest group within higher education institutions. The Latinx Leads Student Leadership Conference (LLC) was created to proactively advance the leadership development, strategic resources, and social action capabilities of Latinx students, administrative advisors, and their collaborative allies.

For over a decade, our annual events have stood as the premier training grounds of intellectual and professional resistance. Designed to fulfill structural support deficits found across small liberal arts colleges and massive state systems alike, the conference empowers delegates with the theoretical frameworks and practical strategies required to advocate for systemic change.

PULL QUOTE

“We must construct platforms that do not simply help us survive, but allow us to transform the administrative governance of our institutions.”

— FOUNDING KEYNOTE DECREE

By shifting from passive networking paradigms towards an operational training workshop, our curriculums actively challenge students to diagnose cultural barriers. This educational rigor is manifested through structured, experiential workshops, and highly intense plenary panels led by historians, policy authors, and legal scholars.

CHAPTER 01 / HISTORICAL CONTEXT
“Latinx students are the second largest group inside higher education nationwide. Yet, structural representation remains critically ignored.”

— THE STRATEGIC MANDATE / ACCIÓN DIRECTA

La Génesis de un Plan de Acción

At the heart of the Latinx Leads mission sits the dynamic blueprint known as the Campus Action Plan. This represents a full rejection of symbolic diversity statements in favor of structured, systemic social campaigns. Students map exactly where administrative policy fails to address student needs, and return to their colleges with an actionable, board-approved campaign.

REPRESENTATION OF RESISTANCE // ACTIVE PARTICIPANT DEBATE (DUOTONE EXPOSURE)

Today, operated by the Ceceilyn Miller Institute, Latinx Leads and its regional conferences unite thousands of students representing over two hundred institutions. From small community colleges to highly funded private universities, we build a singular national coalition: Unidos en la Causa.
